Why did I choose the PMO?

The discovery of the PMO was a real revelation for me, occurring almost by chance. After studying general engineering, I launched into the professional world by joining a service company. It was from my first day that my manager discerned in me the profile of a PMO manager. At the time, I had no idea what that meant…

My first mission was a dive into the unknown, and that’s when I discovered my passion for PMO. Everything had to be built: the processes, the tools, the real-time management of resources, the presentation of reports... This captivating job allowed me to give concrete meaning to my career.

One of the reasons I couldn't settle on a career before was my curious nature. Indeed, I constantly like to learn new things. With the role of PMO manager, this curiosity is fulfilled, I juggle finance alongside management controllers, I analyze schedules with planners, I immerse myself in IT by configuring and administering management software. projects and portfolios. I have the opportunity to take an interest in technology by collaborating with project managers, or even directly with operational teams. This job also allows me at times to take on the role of trainer to present software and explain new processes.

PMO management is an adventure full of surprises. After 12 years, I never feel like I'm doing the same thing twice. It remains a constant source of fulfillment, allowing me to find renewed meaning in my work day after day.

I love creating, improving and innovating! Above all, what I want to do is help as many people as possible with what I know how to do: setting up a PMO. I am freelancer to multiply experiences, choose missions that make sense to me and diversify the sectors of activity in which I operate.
